Doral Academy Presidential Scholars Program

            We would like to congratulate Matthew Gomez of Doral Academy for being nominated for the prestigious Presidential Scholars Program. Once a year, only 161 students are named Presidential Scholars. We all wish him the best of luck in the coming selection of winners!

            The Presidential Scholars Program was established as an executive order in 1964 and is meant to honor the nation’s most distinguished graduating students. Since its founding, the program has been extended to acknowledge the visual and creative arts, as well as students who demonstrate accomplishment in their career.
